Friends star David Schwimmer is having his say on the recent rumours of a cast reunion special.
Though it looked like early talk of a one-off documentary reunion had fallen at the first hurdle over money demands last month, Matthew Perry had fans wondering again recently when he teased “big news”.
As Schwimmer dropped by The One Show on Tuesday night (February 11) to promote his new show Intelligence, Matt Baker and Alex Jones had fun with the rumours by linking all of the clues about the reunion.
“First of all, I’m so glad I finally get to answer this question,” he joked. “I really wish I could confirm or deny. There’s nothing official to report.”
But his smiling expression led Alex Jones to quip: “I’m looking at your eyes and I’m thinking, maybe it’ll be good news.”
Schwimmer did joke that co-star Matthew Perry might be “pregnant” after his recent Twitter teases, which would indeed be quite big news!
Previously, Schwimmer’s other co-star Jennifer Aniston revealed that she was working hard behind the scenes to make this reunion a reality.
“It’s a never ending question, isn’t it? What else could make a group of six actors feel more proud,” she added. “It’s bringing people joy on a daily basis.”
If the Friends reunion does not end up happening, David Schwimmer still has hopes of one day playing James Bond following his recent role in Intelligence as an NSA agent who comes to the UK to form a cyber crimes unit.
